Background

Kris is a born and bred Territorian with a passion for Family Law. He completed his Bachelor of Laws with the Northern Territory University in 2002 before undertaking his Articled Clerkship with the Family Law section of the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission and then with the Northern Territory Department of Justice. Kris was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in April 2004 and has primarily worked as a family lawyer in Darwin during his legal career. Kris joined the DS Family Law team in April 2009 and has been the Solicitor-in-Charge of the Darwin office since then.

Kris enjoys time with his young family as well as fishing and hunting and everything else Darwin has to offer.
