Leon completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England in 2020 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2021. He has worked primarily in the area of Family Law since 2019.

He gained valuable experience over a number of years working at a boutique Family Law Firm before moving to a leading Family Law Firm and ultimately joining DS Family Law (where he brings his extensive experience).

Leon’s preferred approach is to help clients reach an amicable settlement in a way that leads to positive interactions between both parties following the conclusion of their matter.

• Appeared as Instructing Solicitor in approximately 7 Trials in the Family Court of Western Australia involving both complex parenting and financial matters.
• Helping clients increase spend-time arrangements with their children through conducive negotiations or litigation.
• Assisting clients in resolving Family Violence Restraining Order matters without the need for stressful and costly Court proceedings.
• Assisted a client in ascertaining and understanding the parties’ asset pool. She had received an offer from the other party in the amount of $10m. As the asset pool was tied up in companies and a complex family trust structure, she was unaware as to the value of her interest. After she was advised to file an application in the Family Court and issue subpoenas to various banks and accountants, it was confirmed that her interest in the asset pool was in excess of $50m.
